Nursery Program builds on the Playgroup program and provides extended opportunities for exploration, creativity and collaboration through continued immersion in play. Through routines and structures we create a safe and predictable environment for the child. The child is encouraged to respect and care for others and the environment. Foundational literacy skills like reading aloud and picture talks and numeracy skills like counting, sorting and patterns find a place in a child’s routine. Scientific investigations and experiments continue to create a sense of wonder and deepen curiosity. Besides they also learn about varied concepts related to their surroundings like food, family and transport through games, activities and field trips.
