I keep looking for challenges and feedback and see them as the best opportunity for optimum growth of the organization and self. I have been associated with early childhood education for more than 15 years and I am currently responsible for managing one and all the operations at The Village. I have a strong hold over curriculum planning through my experience and while we keep fine tuning the foundational pedagogy we also keep innovating and bringing new ideas from all over the world for the young children to explore and learn through. I believe learning is a lifelong process and that is my mantra for all the leaders, teachers and staff that I work with. As a leader I carve out time to listen to people and understand them and help them see the purpose in what they are doing. To have a team that works happily can produce great results. The cherry on the cake is the joyful smile on the faces of children. That is what makes our work so rewarding.

I have been associated with management and administration work for as long as I know. I like things organized, mapped and in smooth operation and I work to achieve that at work. I govern and work with one and all the departments at The Village like the kitchen, transport, accounts, inventory, library, events, and graphics. Training and managing admin staff and support staff is the core part of my work. I believe in the power of teamwork and trust my team to do their best. I ensure quality through systems, processes and coordination. The best part about my job is to witness young children begin their journey with us tottering and see it change into a steady and confident strut all so soon. I love it when children, even those who are otherwise fussy eaters, enjoy the meals we serve here and eat a bellyful. Their smiles make my day and bring me back to work everyday.

I have spent a good 16 years in early childhood education and the journey has been an incredible one from being a teacher to now a teacher trainer. My work includes planning and conducting professional development sessions for teachers which gives them a strong foundation to begin their work as a facilitator for young children at The Village. I also develop and conduct workshops for parents which I believe helps them in understanding their children, how they grow and how they learn in a better way. I always look for opportunities to learn and grow my own knowledge so that I can share it with the wider community here. I love the joy and fun associated with the events and the way it brings people together. For this reason I also enjoy planning and leading events. I like my work very much. So much that at times in the state of slow I lose sense of time working on planning an event or a new workshop. I am happy to be a part of this community and grateful to see joyous faces of children around me.

My reason for being here is that each day I get the opportunity to learn something new. I have been associated with early childhood education for more than 10 years now. It is a work of great responsibility to be a part and parcel of a child's formative and the most impressionable years. I ensure the children feel comfortable and safe in this environment and I believe people are a big part of it. My team and I ensure that we offer a nurturing, warm and fun company to our children at all times. My strength is to deal with challenges calmly and patiently. I savor my work more and more with every passing day because it’s less of a profession and more of passion.

Music and dance are my hobbies and it makes me feel free. I have studied M.A. and B.Ed. from Veer Narmad University and after that have worked in a school for 4 years and have another 4 years of experience working in a preschool. At The Village the leaders are also learners and that is the best part about it. I have seen my growth as a leader here; I have become a more confident and attentive listener. I experience high energy and enthusiasm learning and working here. As a team leader I ensure that all members of my team are also growing, learning and feel fulfilled. I ensure teamwork through collaboration. Working with young toddlers is a joy. It is wonderful to bond with them, observe them and guide them. I am learning more and more about young children and their behaviors through my work. I believe that children learn by exploring, listening, experimenting and asking questions. My vision for them is that they feel loved and develop to their fullest potential

Hello! I’m Shailee Thakkar, and I am proud to be the Admissions Officer at The Village. With a background in finance from Amity University and a previous career in an MNC, I’ve always believed in the importance of growth and adaptability—values I now apply in the realm of early childhood education.

When I first joined The Village, it was a leap into the unknown, but one I will never regret. My transition from the corporate world to education has been nothing short of transformative. What stood out to me most was the philosophy that guides us here: “burden-less learning.” At The Village, we focus on nurturing children’s curiosity and creativity, emphasizing the joy of learning over the pressure of academic milestones. We understand that true learning flourishes in an environment that encourages exploration and freedom, where every child’s development happens at their own pace.

Our curriculum is not bound by rigid schedules or standardized tests, but instead, it is designed to foster emotional, social, and cognitive growth through hands-on activities. The wisdom of an old proverb rings true here: “Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire.” At The Village, we aim to spark that fire of curiosity and love for learning in every child, allowing them to grow in a way that is as unique as they are.

Holding a varied arena of academia, panning from Bachelor in Business Administration to Communication & Advertising- it has been a smooth and an uplifting journey here, which marked an experience of 3 glorious years for me in this organization. What started just as a Job, has beautifully transitioned into an upstanding PURPOSE of my life with the guidance and support of my mentors aka superiors aka supporters. I am glad to serve as an Accounts Executive since my commencement.

I am a deeply compassionate individual with a profound empathetic persona. So, what I considered as a challenging trait of my personality, was identified as a quality by my Mentors and after 2 years I was conferred with the opportunity of becoming an HR Executive for The Village and Flutterby.

It’s been more than a year now and slowly and gradually my vision of shaping up an efficient & well pleased team is seeing light of the day. This makes me simply ecstatic and gives me utmost fulfillment. At The Village, learning & growth is not just restricted to its students but also its workforce who is the driving force behind the child’s progress. As a dedicated Food and Library Manager at one of the city's top preschools, I am committed to creating a nurturing environment where children thrive both physically and intellectually. I ensure that every meal served is fresh, nutritious, balanced, and carefully planned to support the growth and well-being of our young learners. My role is to create a nutritious menu considering the diverse preferences of young children. My goal is to promote healthy eating habits, offer wholesome food options which help children develop a positive relationship with food from an early age.

In addition, I oversee the preschool's library, curating a collection of books that inspire imagination, curiosity, and a love for learning. During library visits, I encourage children to explore new worlds through stories, sparking their creativity and expanding their understanding of the world around them. By fostering a love of books, I aim to nurture their cognitive and emotional growth, empowering them to become confident, lifelong learners. My mission is to cultivate an environment that supports both their physical health and intellectual growth.

I proudly serve as the Events & Resource Manager at “The Village Early Learning Centre”.Wise people say, “Live in the present,” and for me, cooking and music are two passions that truly keep me grounded in the moment. I hold a B.Sc degree from CCS University, Meerut (U.P.) and bring 15 years of experience in education, including leadership roles. I ensure the smooth execution of academic workshops, cultural festivals, facility bookings, and resource distribution. My focus is on meticulous planning, teamwork, and problem-solving to create a well-structured and engaging environment for students and staff. I believe that "A well-planned event is halfway to success." With a passion for event planning, organization, and teamwork, I thrive on creating engaging experiences that bring our community together. After all, "Alone we can do so little, but together we can do so much."
